  1. *WELCOME TO HOSANNA! – *If you are a new or returning visitor, please be ushered to the gym after-service to a seat with a welcoming plate sheet, and let our Welcoming Team serve you a meal and a cup of water – absolutely free at no cost! Our church lunch is always free for all. It is our joy to serve you! Stay with us after-service to break bread. Fill-out a yellow newcomer’s contact card so that we can keep in touch. We welcome you into this family in Christ’s love and remain here for you as His body to grow and flourish together!
  2. *THANK YOU, MARCH TABLE/CHAIR SETTERS! We want to sincerely thank everyone who helped out throughout the month of March, laboring with us on Saturday afternoons and Sunday afternoons in setting-up and cleaning-up the tables/chairs for both the Korean congregation and our Hosanna congregation for the Sunday lunch ministry. It was tough physical work but together, the burden was light and we finished the task for the whole month! Thank you and may our Lord reward this labor of love with more grace and strength to serve His people!
  3. *TODAY’S LUNCH MENU – KOREAN SPICY BEEF STEW (yuk-gae-jang)! – Also a non-spicy children’s menu of seaweed and rice will be provided weekly. As time allows, join us after-service to break bread together in the gym as an important part of our worship on the LORD’s day. Our church lunch is always free, at no cost for all. Today’s menu is delicious Korean spicy beef stew! Thank the team that prepared it by enjoying the soup!
  4. *TODAY after-lunch, SPRING PICNIC PREP MEETING, 1:10pm @ Corner Conference Room – The scheduled EQUIP hour today will be postponed to next month in May (5/5) due to the spring picnic prep. Please help support brother Chong Choe as he directs the picnic prep operations. With just two weeks remaining, we need every able body to serve, as we are still in need of facilitators and assistant facilitators for games that collaborate adults & children, scoreboard & prize keeper, food prep and supplies servants, cleanup crew, etc. *All those available, please come at 1:10pm @ the corner conference room. If needed, there will also be time for a final meeting next Sunday (4/14), at the same time/location. Thank you!
  5. *THIS FRIDAY (4/12) AGAPE life group – 6:30pm, location TBA! – Thank you in advance for all those giving generous hospitality! Pray for our AGAPE ministry of college, postgraduate, and newlyweds, gathering every Friday evening at 6:30pm at various homes, and our shepherd, Deacon Hana Lee, as she guides this precious family.
  6. *THIS SATURDAY (4/13) HOSANNA PRAYER MEETING LAUNCH! 8:30am @ Ezra Chapel – This Saturday, we are launching our all-congregation monthly prayer meeting, every 2nd Saturday of the month, 8:30am @ Ezra Chapel, led by Elder Patrick Liu, to foster greater cross-generational prayer – from children to adults alike – and a culture of prayer for the broad topics we need to lift up to the Lord. Praise God and please join us for the launch!
  7. *THIS SATURDAY - SUNDAY (4/13-14) KITCHEN FOOD PREP & DISHWASHING MINISTRY – This Saturday at 9:30am, we will be helping our Korean congregation’s kitchen team prep the food for Sunday lunch at 9:30am, alongside do the dishes on Sunday starting 12:40pm. Let us serve and sign-up with Elder Heather Lee.
  8. *NEXT SUNDAY after-service @ Ezra Chapel: CONGREGATIONAL MEETING NOTICE (4/14)! – For those who call Hosanna their home as covenant partners, there is an important congregational meeting in next Sunday (4/14), immediately after-service. The topic of discussion and majority voice vote is the adjustment of the 2024 budget to earmark financial support for future staff. More information to be shared at the meeting. Thank you for giving your voice and support to the Lord’s work!
  9. *APRIL SPRING PICNIC in two weeks (4/21)! – *We continue to remind all to be aware that in just two weeks on 4/21 (Sun), we will not gather at our church facility but at Mary Heads Carter Park in Carrollton for an outdoor Sunday worship, followed by a delicious BBQ picnic lunch with games/fellowship, and prizes from 10am to 3pm. *The purpose of our Spring Picnic is to be a “House of Prayer for All Nations” (ISAIAH 56:1-8), calling all to true righteous worship (not sourced in a location) and mobilizing cross-generational fellowship across our congregation (from children to adults) to inspire godly unity and outreach to our neighbors in need of His love and His house. As the picnic is only two weeks away, familiarize yourself with the location. Enjoy God’s beautiful outdoor weather and creation as we become a house of prayer for all nations! *DISCLAIMER: This event is not sponsored by the City of Carrollton.
  10. *KINGDOM EXPANSION PRAYER – We are moving to pray for a wider vision of God’s Kingdom to expand through the global prayer guide for the persecuted church and persecuted Christians worldwide from The Voice of the Martyrs organization. Today, we are praying for our persecuted Venezuelan brothers and sisters in Christ in South America.

**Prayer Topic: Persecuted Christians in Venezuela, South America
The authoritarian Venezuelan government is hostile toward Christian outreach, and Marxist guerrillas operate freely along the country’s border with Colombia.

The Scripture for today is:

But even if you should suffer for righteousness' sake, you will be blessed. Have no fear of them, nor be troubled. (1 PETER 3:14)

Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me. (PSALM 23:4)

Prayer by Pastor Chester:
Our Father, we lift up to You our Venezuelan brothers and sisters in our Lord Jesus Christ in South America. We pray that Christians in Venezuela will be discerning and remain faithful to Christ when faced with atheistic Marxist ideology. We pray that Venezuelans will recognize the emptiness and darkness of Marxist ideology and turn to Christ. We pray for a great hunger for Your Word among Venezuelan Christians, and pray that they will each have access to a Bible. Lord, we grieve for Venezuela, and the hostility and violence that pervades the country with no reference given to You as their God, Creator, and Savior. We pray especially for the young children – protect them from the evil one. Let us never take for granted the grace we have today to gather and worship You in freedom and life, the same we long for in Venezuela. In the risen Savior of the Venezuelan people, Jesus Christ’s name we pray, Amen.
