Our Story
We began in 1995 with just a handful of people as the English-language ministry within Bethany Korean Presbyterian Church of Dallas.
28 years later, on May 22, 2023, with the full blessing of our Korean ministry partners in accord with the vision to be "One Family, Multiplying Churches, for One Great Commission" and incorporated as a nonprofit corporation/church with the Texas Secretary of State, a new journey as a co-located and co-partnering community began - Hosanna Presbyterian Church was birthed and launched with 50 covenant partners of all ages and backgrounds, forming this broken yet ever-beautifully growing family of God, with the vision to reach farther and wider with the gospel for souls in need of Christ and a church family, even beyond the Korean context.
On August 28, 2023, the new church was received as a chartered member congregation of the Covenant Order of Evangelical Presbyterians (ECO) denominational family, within the Texas Presbytery - with 501(c)(3) exemption granted through ECO. Subsequently on September 17, 2023, a celebratory dedication was held and the church's first officers (Pastor, Elder, Deacon) were installed.
Hosanna envisions to become a vibrant, diversifying, multicultural, multiplying Christ-centered community for all nations and for all of north Dallas. Welcome to Hosanna! Won't you partner with us to this end - to the praise of God's glorious grace?
