Pre-read, think through, and share this spiritual food in discussion with one another! “Repent and Turn Back, for Times of Refreshing are Coming” (ACTS 3:17-26). 1. [v.17-18] Although they acted in ignorance, having denied and crucified Jesus Christ the Author of life, what does Peter still call them (v.17)? What did God still fulfill in His Christ (v.18)? How have I been ignorant before God’s sacrificial love in the sufferings of His only Son, whom He foretold and fulfilled for us? How has God still called me His child and still blessed me with the fulfillment of all His promises? How can God’s word and promises never be derailed or ruined by my lack of understanding of His will, nor by my sinful actions, nor by the sinful actions of others towards me? 2. [v.19-21] Peter preached boldly about their sins not to condemn them, but to call them to what (v.19)? Why (v.19-21)? How is Christ calling me to turn around in both my mind and my actions as His new creation, blotting out everything stained and tainted into being spotless and cleansed? How is the Lord bringing times of refreshing from His presence with the hope of restoring all things so that we might be perfectly complete in Him? 3. [v.22-26] Even from the times of Moses, what was God saying to His people (v.22)? Why must Jesus be listened to, and what happens to those who choose not to listen (v.22-24)? For those who do listen, who are they promised to be and to have (v.25-26)? Where in my life am I not listening to Jesus Christ? By what the prophets have spoken and the covenant God has fulfilled, who am I and what has He done to bless me in Christ? *UPCOMING (*notice some dates may have changed) –

(ACTS 3:1-10). *We had a little trouble with our livestream at the park and apologize for that(!) but most of the message and closing praise were captured. Re-watch here: (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_ZRZp8FTnUE). *REMINDER: SUNDAY WORSHIP START-TIME CHANGE IN EFFECT – 10:30AM! – *Plan your arrival around 10:20am to prepare your heart for worship together in prayer and greeting one another. (1.) A miracle can make people astonished at a healing but not saved with sincere faith. Much more than their astonishment at seeing a miraculous healing, who did the people in Solomon’s portico need to see and hear (v.11-13a)? What am I clinging to, running to, wondering at, staring at for its glory while missing the sight and sounds of the glorified servant Jesus Christ? (2.) What kind of exchange did the people make through their imputed sinful nature (v.13b-15)? How am I exchanging the Author of life for the things that bring destruction to my life with Jesus and one another? (3.) Instead of Peter’s power, what really made the lame man’s legs strong again (v.16)? How am I living for just my legs to be strong in the world while my spirit grows faint with Christ? How can I let the Spirit grow in me “perfect health” in both body and spirit, to be wholly at peace in Christ? *UPCOMING (*notice some dates may have changed) –

Pastor Soo-Young Song came to the United States from Korea in 2006 to study intercultural ministry, where she completed the Master of Divinity degree at San Francisco Theological Seminary in 2013. She has served as a youth and young adult spiritual retreat coordinator in the San Francisco-Bay Area for 16 years, and has continued in pastoral ministry to second-generation Korean-American students and international students. Rev. Song has also led Bible studies for college students on the campus of the University of California Davis (UC Davis) and was in charge as a campus ministry coordinator. In 2024, she was ordained into pastoral ministry by the Korean Holiness Church denomination, at its 22nd General Assembly in New Jersey. Pastor Song’s hope is that the kingdom of God will continue to expand through worship, the Word, and fellowship among the saints in Christ’s community, and be continuously used in the work of creating a healthy church. For the past 15 years, Pastor Song has served The Sharing Church (더나누는교회) in Albany, California. She has stepped-out in faith to obey the call to move all the way to Dallas to be with us. Please give her a warm welcome and embrace when you see Pastor Song around our community! *PASTOR & FAMILY BACK FROM BREAK THIS SUNDAY – Pastor & family thanks the Session & congregation for their break Sunday. Pre-read, think through, and share this spiritual food in discussion with one another! “Devote Yourselves to the Fellowship” (ACTS 2:42-47). 1. Devotion is about consistent covenant commitment, an unbreakable spiritual pattern set in life that becomes second nature. What did the earliest Christians devote themselves that could not be done in isolation but only in fellowship (v.42)? What am I missing in devotion to the fellowship? How am I dipping into shallow fellowship instead of spiritual fellowship? 2. What spiritual fruits appeared when they continued to devote themselves to fellowship in these three areas (v.43-47a)? What are the spiritual fruits that the Holy Spirit is growing in my soul, through my possessions, and with my home and bread I share with my siblings in Christ? 3. What did the Lord do day by day in their devotion and bearing of good spiritual fruit (v.47b)? Ultimately, whose role is it to grow the number of those being saved? Then, what is our role? *UPCOMING HAPPIEST BIRTHDAY TO YOU FROM OUR HOSANNA FAMILY! We celebrate you and love you in Christ so much! (*Let us know if we missed your birthday!
