*BLESSED NEW AGAPE life group gathering last Saturday! – Our new AGAPE life group of young adults and families are beginning to gather and edify one another through the Word, prayer, and breaking of bread! Join them! Pray for our co-shepherds Jonathan & Nara Jeng. May the Lord build this precious fellowship!  *MISSED LAST SUNDAY? – We missed you! We hope you can join us next time or when you are in the Dallas area! It was Mother’s Appreciation Sunday and we held our annual Spring Picnic Worship at Andrews Brown Park East in Coppell, with a message advancing our journey through the book of Acts on rising up and walking together as the Church, just as Peter and John raised up the lame man in the healing name of Jesus and walked together with him into the temple, part 10 – Rise Up and Walk Together! (ACTS 3:1-10). *We had a little trouble with our livestream at the park and apologize for that(!) but most of the message and closing praise were captured. Re-watch here: (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_ZRZp8FTnUE).  *REMINDER: SUNDAY WORSHIP START-TIME CHANGE IN EFFECT – 10:30AM! – *Plan your arrival around 10:20am to prepare your heart for worship together in prayer and greeting one another. We will start promptly at 10:30am with the whole family (children K-5th + youth 6th-12th). *Children and youth will be dismissed to their respective ministries after opening praise and announcement time, at approximately 10:55am. Children’s Ministry Worship Service with Minister Sewon Cho will begin 11:00am in the Children’s Chapel. Youth Bible study and lunch will begin at 11:00am with Rev. Sooyoung Song, followed by *12:00pm Youth Worship Service following the end of our worship service. *We will end our worship service approximately between 11:35am to 11:40am, and exit the Ezra Chapel completely by 11:45am. Let’s get in the routine of these new times to honor our children’s & youth ministries, alongside the sharing of the Chapel facility.  *BEST MOM’S EVER – HOSANNA MOTHER’S APPRECIATION! – We honor all our Hosanna mothers for their compassion, nurture, sacrifice, and dedication to bear and raise children for the glory of Christ! Thank you, mom’s!  *THIS SATURDAY (5/17) JAMES families life group, 4:00pm-7:00pm @ Ezra Chapel – The JAMES families will gather to finish their study on Faith, Doubt, and God’s Timing through various Scriptures. Join us! *THIS SUNDAY (5/18) HOSANNA PRESCHOOL GRADUATION – Jonah and Eliana will be graduating from Hosanna Preschool Worship into our blended children’s ministry with Bethany Korean Church, under the shepherdship of Minister Sewon Cho – Bethany Children’s Ministry (BCM). Let us congratulate and bless them together this Sunday!  *THIS SUNDAY (5/18) YOUTH SERVICE PRESENTATION OF HOSANNA CHURCH – The Ordained Officers, Staff, and Lay Servants will be in the 12pm youth service to introduce Hosanna Church and our annual Evangelism Sunday event – Taste of Hosanna – in view of the upcoming promotion Sunday (6/1) when all grades matriculate into their next level. Let us pray and welcome the high school senior graduates as they discern their next steps in the Lord, and any new friends we can invite for our 6/1 (Sunday) Taste of Hosanna Evangelism Lord’s Day! *THIS SUNDAY (5/18) LAST DAY TO REGISTER FOR 2025 “TRUE NORTH” VBS for children PreK to 5th grade! – $40 registration fee. Register online at (bethanydallas.org), or through the QR code, or at the foyer table near the Bethany Chapel. VBS will be held 6/5 (Thurs) – 6/8 (Sun). See poster for the various start-time schedule. Let pray for all the volunteers and many children to learn and grow in faith through Jesus Christ!  *THIS SUNDAY (5/18) STAFF GATHERING, 1:15pm @ Corner Conference Room – Our honored staff will be gathering for a monthly debriefing and prayer time. Continue supporting our honored staff! *PRAISE SONGS for this SUNDAY! – Practice them and be ready to sing them on Sunday morning. Praise on, brothers and sisters! (1) His Name is Jesus; (2) Man of Sorrows; (3) By Faith *THIS SUNDAY (5/18) POSTPONED UNTIL NEXT WEEK: after-service BREAKOUT DISCUSSION GROUP MINISTRY – Due to the many attending the 12pm youth worship service for the Hosanna introduction to the students, we have a take-home discussion this Sunday on the message – “Be Perfectly Complete by Faith in His Name” (ACTS 3:11-16). *If you happen to stay for lunch, or throughout this week, take some time to be challenged by this Scripture and apply it to your daily devotion to Jesus! (1.) A miracle can make people astonished at a healing but not saved with sincere faith. Much more than their astonishment at seeing a miraculous healing, who did the people in Solomon’s portico need to see and hear (v.11-13a)? What am I clinging to, running to, wondering at, staring at for its glory while missing the sight and sounds of the glorified servant Jesus Christ? (2.) What kind of exchange did the people make through their imputed sinful nature (v.13b-15)? How am I exchanging the Author of life for the things that bring destruction to my life with Jesus and one another? (3.) Instead of Peter’s power, what really made the lame man’s legs strong again (v.16)? How am I living for just my legs to be strong in the world while my spirit grows faint with Christ? How can I let the Spirit grow in me “perfect health” in both body and spirit, to be wholly at peace in Christ? *UPCOMING (*notice some dates may have changed) –
