Scripture commands us to hold in prayer especially those who are ill and sick amongst us. *If you find yourself ill/sick or a family member or church family member, we encourage you to inform any of the Elders, Deacons, or Lay Servants so that we can lift one another up prayerfully as a healing and praying church! *From common allergies/colds to prolonged illnesses, may the healing touch of Jesus Christ reach us all so that He will receive the glory in healing us all! *Remember these precious souls and caregiving souls in our church family:

Pre-read, think through, and share this spiritual food in discussion with one another! “Rejoice that You are Counted Worthy to Suffer Dishonor for His Name” (ACTS 5:34-42). (1.) [v.34-37] How did Gamaliel – a respected teacher of the law and spiritual leader of that day – stand up against the rage and desire to kill the apostles by the temple leaders, and what example did he give for the temple leaders to consider? How has the holy Spirit stood up against my moments of rage or anger, and how has He brought calm and gentleness to bring me back to my senses? What are some examples in my own life that have brought damage, dispersion, and destruction due to uncontrolled rage and anger that was acted upon without a sound mind in Christ? How much more different is Jesus to me than Theudas or Judas the Galilean, both who came to be nothing? ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- (2.) [v.38-39] What was Gamaliel’s advice to the temple leaders in asking them to leave the apostles alone? How have I known a plan in my life has been the undertaking of my own invention or the movement of the plan of God? How have I been found opposing God instead of submitting to Him? How have I been found passive towards God instead of active on His mission? ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- (3.) [v.40-42] What did the temple leaders do before they released the apostles (v.40)? Yet, with what heart, mind, and action did the apostles leave their presence (v.41-42)? Even in dishonor and my suffering, how can I rejoice? *UPCOMING (*notice some dates may have changed) –

*KINGDOM EXPANSION PRAYER – This week’s Kingdom expansion prayers will focus on the 2025-’26 Ordained Spiritual Leadership. Scripture: For who is the greater, one who reclines at table or one who serves? Is it not the one who reclines at table? But I am among you as the one who serves. (LUKE 22:27) For you were called to freedom, brothers and sisters. Only do not use your freedom as an opportunity for the flesh, but through love serve one another. (GALATIANS 5:13) Submitting to one another out of reverence for Christ. (EPHESIANS 5:21) Prayer (by Pastor Chester): Heavenly Father, we lift up to You once again this sacred season of raising Your next ordained servants in to Your offices of Elder and Deacon for the 2025-’26 year of our Lord Jesus Christ. Holy Spirit, thank You for guiding all those who casted a nomination, prayed and fasted for a potential candidate to office. We acknowledge it was You, Holy Spirit, who gave notification of a name, of a face, of a memory and moment of Christ-exuding character and conduct inspiring to meet the above-reproach qualifications to these blessed offices of Your Church. Lord Jesus, we acknowledge You are the Master, Shepherd, and Head of this particular Church, and You will choose through us those You desire to advance Your Kingdom work through Your Church for this appointed time. We thank You in advance that You have already chosen and called and equipped these Elders and Deacons for this next season. As You declared, Lord Jesus, you came among us as the one who serves tables instead of reclines at one. May these next servants be great because they are last. May they not use their freedom and authority to serve as an opportunity for the flesh, but through love serve one another in humility, compassion, and gentleness. May we, as both lay and ordained servants like, learn to submit to one another out of reverence for Christ and flourish Your peace in all circumstances, for we are all one in You and for Your Cause. Through our Suffering Servant and Chief Shepherd, Overseer, and lead example of eldership and deaconship, Jesus Christ we pray, Amen & amen.
