*DISMISSAL of children (kinder to 5th grade) to Children’s Ministry and Youth Group to Bible study + Lunch! – At this time, children from kindergarten to 5th grade can head over to Minister Sewon Cho’s children’s ministry – please proceed to the children’s chapel down the hallway to the left! And youth group can head to your Bible study and lunch hour with Rev. Suyoung Song. *Preschool worship children should already be in the preschool worship room with Director Rachel, and will continue to begin simultaneously at 10:30am in the preschool worship room.
 
*THIS PAST MONDAY (3/9) WELCOME TO GOD'S FAMILY! Sister Selene Suh-U Gee - This past Monday, March 9, 2026, our new sister Selene Suh-U Gee was born, delivered safely to us by the merciful arms of Jesus! The Lord sent our sister Selene into this world, to our Gee family and to our Hosanna family. All praise and glory be to our Lord Jesus Christ, the Author and Perfecter of all life! Keep mom Deacon Gloria's post-delivery recovery in your prayers and the nurture of Selene. May the Lord make Selene His light shining in the darkest times & His wisdom flowing out at all times! Amen. Welcome, sister Selene! Praise be to the Lord for His faithfulness and His love that endures forever for Selene and for us all! Amen.

*CONTINUING THIS WEEK – LENTEN SEASON – WEEK 5 “Here I Am” A Lenten Journey of Obedience –  “Walking Toward the Cross” – Use the Lent guide from our denomination ECO: eco-pres.org/lent. These are the 40 days prior to Easter on April 4/5. Let us all learn to fast (from food, from addicted sins, from leisure, from entertainment, from daily routines, from spending/money, etc.) & pray... realigning our hungering desires upon Christ through fasting. [The Gospel According to the Acts of the Apostles – THE CHURCH IN ACTION (part 44)] 
"The Hand of the Lord with the First Christians of His Church" (ACTS 11:19-26)
 
(1.) [v.19-21] How are your hardships, difficult times, sufferings/persecutions, and trials all part of being led by the Lord’s hand and held in the Lord’s hand, like the persecution arising from Deacon Stephen’s martyrdom that scattered the early Jesus followers? When we do everything except the very thing that God wants us to do, how does this limit what the Lord’s hand can do in our lives, just as the scattered evangelists still limited the reach of the gospel by only speaking the Word to Jews? Like the unknown evangelists from Cyprus and Cyrene, how can you humbly, faithfully, and obediently follow where the Lord’s hand is leading you in new ways that can result in unimaginable spiritual fruit? How can your small act of obedience today be a seed for a great act of the Lord’s hand through you?

(2.) [v.22-24] Like the sending of Barnabas to Antioch, who has the hand of the Lord sent into your life to exhort you to remain faithful to the Lord with steadfast purpose? Who has God sent you to as His Barnabas, someone full of the Holy Spirit and of faith to see His grace and be glad at the works of His hands? Who are the souls God is sending you to teach, encourage, exhort, and build up in Jesus Christ?

(3.) [v.25-26] Instead of relishing in visible success, fruitful times, or attained knowledge, how is the Lord’s hand humbling you to look for other servants of God who can teach and edify your walk with Christ? Just as Barnabas sought and brought a better teacher, Saul, to Antioch, how can we nurture a teachable heart before those God appointed over us to teach us? How must we be teachable disciples of Jesus Christ, so much so that we ought to be called, “Christian” which means “little Christ/Resemblers of Christ/Christ followers”?

“주의 손이 그의 교회 안에 초대 그리스도인들과 함께 하시매” (사도행전 11장 19-26절)
 
(1.) [19-21절] 여러분이 겪는 어려움, 힘든 시기, 고난/박해, 시련은 모두 주님의 손에 이끌리고 주님의 품에 안겨 있는 과정의 일부입니다. 마치 집사 스테파노의 순교로 인해 초기 예수 제자들이 흩어졌던 박해처럼 말입니다. 우리가 하나님께서 원하시는 일을 제외한 모든 것을 행할 때, 주님의 손길이 우리 삶에서 행하실 수 있는 일은 어떻게 제한될까요? 마치 흩어진 복음 전도자들이 유대인들에게만 말씀을 전함으로써 복음의 범위를 제한했던 것처럼 말입니다. 키프로스와 키레네의 이름 없는 복음 전도자들처럼, 여러분은 어떻게 겸손하고 신실하며 순종하는 마음으로 주님의 손길이 인도하시는 새로운 길을 따라가 상상할 수 없는 영적인 열매를 맺을 수 있을까요? 오늘 여러분의 작은 순종이 어떻게 주님의 손길이 여러분을 통해 행하시는 위대한 일의 씨앗이 될 수 있을까요?

(2.) [22-24절] 바나바를 안디옥으로 보낸 것처럼, 주님의 손길이 당신의 삶에 보내져서 당신이 확고한 의지로 주님께 충실히 남아 있도록 권면하는 사람은 누구입니까? 하나님께서 당신을 그분의 바나바처럼 보내신 사람은 누구입니까? 성령과 믿음이 충만하여 그분의 은혜를 보고 그분의 손으로 하신 일을 기뻐하는 사람 말입니다. 하나님께서 당신을 보내어 가르치고, 격려하고, 권면하고, 예수 그리스도 안에서 세워 줄 영혼들은 누구입니까?

[25-26절] 눈에 보이는 성공이나 풍성한 결실, 혹은 얻은 지식에 도취되는 대신, 주님의 손길은 어떻게 당신을 겸손하게 하여 그리스도와의 동행을 가르치고 세워 줄 수 있는 다른 하나님의 종들을 찾도록 인도하고 있습니까? 바나바가 더 나은 교사인 사울을 찾아 안디옥으로 데려온 것처럼, 하나님께서 우리를 가르치도록 세우신 사람들 앞에서 우리는 어떻게 배우려는 마음을 기를 수 있습니까? 어떻게 하면 예수 그리스도의 가르침을 기꺼이 받아들이는 제자가 되어, "그리스도인"이라는 칭호를 받을 수 있겠습니까? "그리스도인"은 "작은 그리스도/그리스도를 닮은 자/그리스도를 따르는 자"라는 뜻입니다.
 
 
*KINGDOM EXPANSION PRAYER – This week’s Kingdom expansion prayers will focus on week 5 of this Lenten season devotional theme, “Walking Toward the Cross”
 
Scripture:
 
For the word of the cross is folly to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God. (1 CORINTHIANS 1:18)
 
But far be it from me to boast except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by which the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world. (GALATIANS 6:14)
 
Therefore, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us also lay aside every weight, and sin which clings so closely, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, Looking to Jesus, the founder and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is seated at the right hand of the throne of God. (HEBREWS 12:1-2)
 
Prayer (by Pastor Chester):
Heavenly Father, as we enter the 5th week of this holy Lenten season, show us this week what it means to be “ Walking Toward the Cross.” The cross is an instrument of guilt, shame, and torture before the world. To live and end up on a cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God. Show us afresh Your power in the cross – and not any old cross – but the cross that You sent Your only Son our Lord Jesus Christ to hang on and die for the atonement of our sins. Show us Your love poured out on His cross, that it was not the nails that kept Him hanging on it, but Your love with arms stretched wide for us to the end, where Christ died to bring death to all death, and show us the only way to cross over from death to life through His cross. How can be boast in anything except the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ? For His death is now our death to the world crucified to us, and our death to the love for the things of the world. Let us therefore lay aside every weight and sing clinging so closely, and run with endurance the race that set before us, carrying our own cross, denying ourselves, and looking to Jesus, the founder and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross for us, disregarding its shame, and is now seated at Your right hand of the heavenly throne. Bless our new 9:30am Sunday breakfast fellowship – help our congregants come early and welcome one another to the Lord’s Day. Bless our breakout discussions today with Spirit-filled reflections. Bless the servants who labored in the kitchen prep food for today. Bless the staff as they gather today. Bless the children’s PTA gathering today. Bless those on Spring break this week, with Spirit-filled family time, safe travels, and rest. Bless all the precious life growing in the womb among us. We overflow with thanks to You for delivering sister Selene by Your merciful arms to the Gee’s and to us. Keep us all in Your grace and near Your cross out of Your empty tomb to keep going and making Your disciples, through our risen Lord Jesus Christ, Amen & Amen.
