12/22/2024 Christmas Sunday Announcements

1. *DISMISSAL (children (kinder to 5th grade) to Children’s Chapel with Minister Sunny and new Children’s Minister Sewon Cho! – At this time, all children preschool to 5th grade can head over to the preschool room with Teacher Ashley for a special Christmas ornament craft time – *PLEASE WALK! *Have a blessed worshipful time. *From there, Teacher Ashley will dismiss children kinder to 5th grade to their Christmas Presentation in the Korean Chapel with Minister Sunny Ahn. *Parents desiring to see the children’s Christmas Presentation in the Korean Chapel, I will dismiss you shortly at 11:20am at Elder Heather’s signal. *Parents, you are welcomed back to our worship service after viewing the Christmas Presentation, as time allows. Thank you!
2. *MERRY CHRISTMAS LORD’S DAY & WELCOME to HOSANNA! – *Merry Christmas Sunday and warmest welcome to all of you, especially if you are visiting or re-visiting! Please let our Welcoming Team give you our welcoming gift of a t-shirt and beige multi-purpose bag! Fill-out a yellow newcomer’s contact card so that we can keep in touch! We welcome you into this family of Christ’s loving arms and remain here for you as His body to grow and flourish together!
3. *WELCOME BACK TO COLLEGE & POSTGRADUATE STUDENTS ON CHRISTMAS BREAK! – It was a blessing to see you at yesterday’s Christmas Fellowship Gift Exchange and here today as well. Let us give a special warm prayerful welcome to our remote and returning college and postgraduate students! May the Lord abundantly bless your studies and future steps! We are always here for you back in north Dallas as your spiritual home to encourage and support your journey in Christ.
4. *NOTICE: HOSANNA STAFF BREAKS – Pray for our honored staff during their breaks: Preschool Worship Director Rachel Ko (12/22, 12/29).
5. *TODAY – POSTPONED after-service BREAKOUT DISCUSSION GROUPS: TAKE-HOME DISCUSSION instead – *In view of Christmas Lord’s Day, Bethany Kitchen team prepared a special lunch so please enjoy the fellowship and breaking of bread immediately after-service. You are also free to stay in the chapel to fellowship, pray, discuss the message. Take-home that discussion with you and do with your families around Christmas this Wednesday, the 25th! Merry Christmas, Hosanna!
6. *NEXT SUNDAY* END-OF-YEAR SPECIAL GUEST PREACHER on NEW YEAR’S EVE LORD’S DAY (12/29 [Sun]) – REV. JIM-BOB PARK – We have a great blessing awaiting us to close out the year 2024 with Rev. Jim-Bob Park from Compassion Korea, who is coming to give us the Lord’s Day message! Pastor Park travels across the globe with Compassion Korea to release children from poverty in Jesus’ Name, spreading hope to dream God’s dreams again for their lives. He is an internationally and nationally known veteran Pastor, mentor, and advisor to hundreds of Asian-American pastors and ministries. Invite your friends and make sure to be here yourself to receive His pastoral wisdom and heart!
7. *NEXT SUNDAY* SESSION/ELDER BOARD MEETING, 1:15pm @ Corner Conference Room – Pray for our spiritual leadership!
8. *NOTICE FOR JANUARY – ASSIGNED MONTH TABLE/CHAIRS SETUP & CLEANUP WITH NEW COVENANT SERVANT SCHEDULE ROTATIONS – Bethany Korean Church has assigned Hosanna the entire month of January 2025 to setup the gymnasium/cafeteria tables & chairs on Saturday and cleanup on Sunday at 1:10am, starting with wiping the tables down followed by folding away the tables & chairs. In conjunction with the kitchen schedule, we want to move away from a volunteer basis and into a covenant schedule among our life groups leading the ministry. Take note of the date assigned and let us make room and priority to setup the Lord’s table for His people throughout January.
