*DISMISSAL of children (kinder to 5th grade) to Children’s Ministry and Youth Group to Bible study + Lunch! – At this time, children from kindergarten to 5th grade can head over to Minister Sewon Cho’s children’s ministry – please proceed to the children’s chapel down the hallway to the left! And youth group can head to your Bible study and lunch hour with Rev. Sooyoung Song. *Preschool worship children should already be in the preschool worship room with Director Rachel, and will continue to begin simultaneously at 10:30am in the preschool worship room.

*DEADLINE TODAY (9/21)!!!!!!! – REGISTER NOW for the HOSANNA FALL RETREAT “LIFT UP YOUR EYES!” by this Sunday!!!!! – Register online here by TODAY. You can zelle the retreat fee to the hosanna email: [email protected]. $60 per adult/$20 per child. $30 per staff/$10 per child of staff. This will greatly help the Deacons prepare scheduling, lodging, and food. Thank you!

*TODAY - ANNIVERSARY GIFTS & DESSERTS - Make sure to pickup our 2nd anniversary bookmark and pen, remembering this day and keeping Hosanna in your prayers. We also are serving rice cakes for the entire Bethany-Hosanna families. Help distribute them during lunch after-service. Join us for our always free lunch every Sunday after-service - today is delicious soybean sprout mixed rice.

*NEXT SUNDAY (9/28) – MOBILE BLOOD DRIVE AT CHURCH, 9:00am-2:00pm – Our annual blood drive with Bethany Korean Church is here. There will be mobile blood-giving stations at church. Those who have healthy and able blood are encouraged to give between 9am to 2pm. *Remember to fast (no food) prior to giving blood. *You must sign-up at this website for a specific time slot prior to giving your blood – sign up at this link here.

*NEXT SUNDAY (9/28) – SESSION + DIACONATE GATHERING, 1:15pm – All our current and new ordained officers will gather to finish prepping for our fall retreat. Pray for our Elders and Deacons!

*TODAY - SPECIAL GUEST PREACHER FOR 2ND ANNIVERSARY - Praise be to God for calling His servant to preach the Word on today's special occasion of our 2nd Anniversary Worship Service! Rev. Mark Story is no stranger to Hosanna, as he has been a vital part of helping get Hosanna chartered into our denominational family as an official church, and has particularly done a lot of work in editing our bylaws. Rev. Story grew up in San Angelo, Texas and has lived in Texas his whole life. He received an undergraduate degree in Political Science from Southern Methodist University and a J.D. from the University of Texas School of Law. Pastor Mark is a “second career” pastor, practicing law in Dallas for almost 25 years before becoming the Executive Director of Highland Park Presbyterian Church in Dallas in 2004. He has been passionate about the ECO Presbyterian denomination from even before its official organization and Highland Park was among the first wave of churches to join. Pastor Mark served as Moderator of the ECO Presbytery in 2017 and currently is a member of the Ministry Partnership Team of the Presbytery. He received his Master of Divinity degree from Dubuque Theological Seminary and proudly became ordained as an ECO Pastor just as he was winding down his career as Executive Director of Highland Park. He continues to serve as an Assistant Pastor at Highland Park on a voluntary basis. Mark and his wife, Bettie, have two grown daughters and five grandchildren.
