*WELCOME to HOSANNA! – Warmest welcome to all of you, especially if you are visiting or re-visiting! Please let our Welcoming Team give you our welcoming gift! Fill-out a yellow newcomer’s contact card so that we can keep in touch! We welcome you into this family of Christ’s loving arms and remain here for you as His body to grow and flourish together!
 
*DISMISSAL of children (kinder to 5th grade) to Children’s Ministry and Youth Group to Bible study + Lunch! – At this time, children from kindergarten to 5th grade can head over to Minister Sewon Cho’s children’s ministry – please proceed to the children’s chapel down the hallway to the left! And youth group can head to your Bible study and lunch hour with Rev. Suyoung Song. *Preschool worship children should already be in the preschool worship room with Director Rachel, and will continue to begin simultaneously at 10:30am in the preschool worship room.
 
*LAST TUESDAY (8/18) NEWBORN LIFE! SOPHIA GRACE PARK & IAN HAEL JENG – Praise be to God who has delivered safely into our arms two of His precious children – Sophia and Ian – on the same day! Pray for the full recovery of mom – Deacon Juhae Park and Elder Nara Jeng – as they rest from labor & delivery. Celebrate the joy of our Lord Jesus Christ adding to our number these precious children to Him belong, they are weak but He is strong! Yes, Jesus loves them! Amen. *PRAYER for PREGNANCY & DELIVERY OF BABY CHAO – Minister Samantha is scheduled for delivery of baby Chao in September. Pray for the health and safe delivery from the Lord’s hand of baby Chao in the womb!
 
*CONGRATULATIONS to ELDERS ANDREW & HEATHER LEE on the marriage of their daughter Kristen this weekend! – Congratulations to Elder Andrew & Elder Heather on the marriage of their daughter Kristen to Connor Gillen this weekend. May God abundantly bless and multiply His image through the Lee’s with all their married daughters! Congratulations!
 
*ALL-HANDS-IN!!!! UPCOMING in TWO WEEKS on SATURDAY-SUNDAY (9/5-9/6) KITCHEN FOOD PREP & SERVING LUNCH FOR ENTIRE HOSANNA-BETHANY CHURCH FAMILIES – To bless Bethany’s 40th anniversary retreat, we will be serving the church lunch on Sunday to the Korean congregation at approximately 12:30pm. Table/chairs setup + Food prep for 200+ people will be on Saturday (9/5) at 4:30pm. Menu will be rice, Korean spicy pork (Jeyuk Bokkeum), lettuce, cold cucumber soup (Oi-Naengguk), and desserts (fruits + cookies). We will also celebrate our September birthdays with a birthday cake (served by sister Mya Krief). *We are in need of all-hands-in for this blessed opportunity to serve!! As the very first time in our history, Hosanna will serve the Sunday church lunch for both church families. Let’s do so joyfully, sacrificially, and with a thankful heart to prepare the Lord’s table for His people! Amen.
 
*NEXT SUNDAY (8/30) OFFICER CANDIDATE PROFILES for ELECTION – The nominees who have been examined by Session, given a passing assessment, invited to candidacy and invitation accepted by the nominee will be announced with their profile. Although the Session has examined and passed each nominee to candidacy, the Session submits to the will of the congregation with a confidence or no-confidence vote for each candidate to assume their office. Two-thirds majority vote of the congregation is needed to pass each candidate. Please continue praying for the candidates as they are revealed and the election process of officers for the next 2026-’27 ministry year!

The HIP prayer team has created a private and confidential online form (Hosanna Intercessory Prayer Request Form) to collect requests for prayer. Please use it abundantly and know that our prayer team intercedes humbly and fervently on your behalf before our Heavenly Father’s throne, seeking His heart and will for your request.
 
*LET’S BE ON-TIME FOR 10:30AM START-TIME! - *Coming on-time does not mean walking-in at 10:30am. *Please come between 10:00am to 10:15am, greeting one another, sharing in breakfast fellowship, helping any needs with the Welcoming Team, and preparing with earnest prayer in the Chapel prior to the worship countdown starting 10:25am! Thank you for your understanding!
