*WELCOME to HOSANNA! – *Warmest welcome to all of you, especially if you are visiting or re-visiting! Please let our Welcoming Team give you our welcoming gift! Fill-out a yellow newcomer’s contact card so that we can keep in touch! We welcome you into this family of Christ’s loving arms and remain here for you as His body to grow and flourish together!

*KEEP IN HEART & MIND TODAY - PENTECOST SUNDAY – It has been 50 days since Easter, and we celebrate Pentecost when the Holy Spirit came upon the earliest followers of Jesus in powerful wind and tongues of fire. May the Lord ignite our hearts and our tongues again with passion to be filled and led by His Spirit! 

*DISMISSAL of children (kinder to 5th grade) to Children’s Ministry and Youth Group to Bible study + Lunch! – At this time, children from kindergarten to 5th grade can head over to Minister Sewon Cho’s children’s ministry – please proceed to the children’s chapel down the hallway to the left! And youth group can head to your Bible study and lunch hour with Rev. Sooyoung Song. *Preschool worship children should already be in the preschool worship room with Director Rachel, and will continue to begin simultaneously at 10:30am in the preschool worship room.
 
*TODAY (6/8) –

• LAST DAY of VBS! – “True North” VBS will conclude at 1:30pm.
• TABLES/CHAIRS CLEANUP after-lunch – We will continue cleanup at 1:15pm in the gymnasium cafeteria.

 
*UPCOMING – THIS SATURDAY (6/14) –

• TABLES/CHAIRS SETUP – 9:30am in the gymnasium cafeteria
• KITCHEN FOOD PREP MINISTRY – 9:30am in the kitchen
• AGAPE young adults & families – 4:30pm-7:30pm led by the Jeng’s, continuing their study on Psalm 119. Join us!

 
*UPCOMING – NEXT SUNDAY (6/15) –

• DISHWASHING MINISTRY – 12:40pm in the kitchen
• STAFF GATHERING – 1:40pm in the corner conference room. Pray for our honored staff!

 
*KINGDOM EXPANSION PRAYER – This week’s Kingdom expansion prayers will focus on the “True North” VBS children to grow in faith in Jesus Christ.

“But Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me and do not hinder them, for to such belongs the kingdom of heaven.” (MATTHEW 19:14)
 
 
Prayer (by Pastor Chester):
Heavenly Father, we lift up to You all the children of the 2025 “True North” VBS. We thank You for drawing the many children to Your only Son through these past days. We thank You, Holy Spirit, for preparing their hearts as fertile soil for the planting of Your Word and Gospel, and we expect great things You will do through them to advance Your Kingdom to the next generation of devoted followers of our Lord Jesus Christ. Open their hearts. Renew their minds. Open their eyes. Open their ears. Plant the gift of Your faith to trust in You, no matter what circumstance they are in and what awaits them in the future. Keep their true north, their one direction that aligns their lives, rooted in following Christ and becoming more like Him. Let all the little children come to You through the VBS and let nothing hinder them, for to them belongs Your Kingdom. Strengthen Children’s minister Sewon Cho, Head Pastor of Christian Education Pastor Sooyoung Song, and all the sacrificial and committed volunteers to finish well today as they shepherd Your children to Your green pastures of the living word on this Pentecost Sunday. Ignite a passion for Your Name their hearts and tongues with Your wind and fire again. Through our true north, our risen Lord Jesus Christ we pray, Amen & amen.
