*DISMISSAL of children (kinder to 5th grade) to Children’s Ministry and Youth Group to Bible study + Lunch! – At this time, children from kindergarten to 5th grade can head over to Minister Sewon Cho’s children’s ministry – please proceed to the children’s chapel down the hallway to the left! And youth group can head to your Bible study and lunch hour with Rev. Suyoung Song. *Preschool worship children should already be in the preschool worship room with Director Rachel, and will continue to begin simultaneously at 10:30am in the preschool worship room.
 
*TODAY – SUNDAY (5/10) – MOTHER’S APPRECIATION & ASCENSION SUNDAY – We honor our godly mothers and all our sisters in Hosanna, and the ascension of our Lord Jesus 40 days after Easter.
 
CONGRATULATIONS, RACHEL KO (TWU graduation) & HANNAH KIM (UT AUSTIN) graduation! – Sister Rachel graduated with the bachelor of science degree in music therapy from Texas Woman’s University in Denton. Our seasonal praise servant, sister Hannah Kim, graduated with the bachelor of science degree in medicine/pre-dentistry from University of Texas at Austin. Let us congratulate both of them and glorify the Lord on this milestone achievement!

*DUE TODAY – REGISTER FOR 2026 GOLF MISSION FUNDRAISER TO BE HELD THIS SATURDAY (5/16), starting 2:00pm at Bear Creek Golf Club [3500 Bear Creek Ct, Dallas, TX 75261] – Fee: $150 per player – Register at the Foyer Lobby outside the gymnasium cafeteria. Collection will go to Nogales, Mexico, for supporting Missionary Rev. Yul Lee. See information on Missionary Lee’s ministry on our Foyer Wallboard.
 
*CONTINUING TODAY – REGISTER FOR 2026 CHILDREN’S VBS “Rainforest Falls” – Early registration ends NEXT SUNDAY (5/17): $35 per child. After 5/17 ($45 per child). Children from PreK, 3 yrs. old to Elementary 5th grade are welcomed to register in the Foyer Lobby outside the gymnasium cafeteria. VBS will be held from 6/4 Thursday to 6/7 Sunday, ending with a watersplash activity on Sunday.

*KINGDOM EXPANSION PRAYER – This week’s Kingdom expansion prayers will focus on guidance and growth for the churches and leaders to lead the Korean American community in North Dallas.

And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose.
 
2 Timothy 1:8-9 (ESV)
Therefore do not be ashamed of the testimony about our Lord, nor of me his prisoner, but share in suffering for the gospel by the power of God, who saved us and called us to a holy calling, not because of our works but because of his own purpose and grace, which he gave us in Christ Jesus before the ages began.
 
2 Corinthians 5:17 (ESV)
Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come.
 
 
Prayer (by Deacon Jonathan Jeng):
Heavenly Father, Today we come before You with heavy hearts as we pray for all the families, businesses, and communities affected by the recent shooting that has deeply shaken the Korean American community and so many around the area. Lord, we ask that Your loving presence surround every grieving family with comfort, strength, and hope during this painful time. Once again, we are reminded that this world is broken and filled with hurt, violence, and sorrow. Yet even in the darkness, we know that we are never abandoned because we have Your guidance, mercy, and everlasting love. Though the world is broken, our faith in You makes us whole. Father, remind us of the promise found in Romans 8:28 – that in all things You work for the good of those who love You and are called according to Your purpose. Sometimes good things fall apart so that better things may come together according to Your will. Help us to trust You even when we do not understand the pain before us. Teach us not to dwell only on earthly desires or personal ambitions, but to seek Your calling above all else. Your word reminds us that You have saved us and called us to a holy life, not because of anything we have done ourselves, but because of Your grace and glory. May we walk faithfully in that calling with humility and obedience. Father, renew our hearts daily and remind us that through Christ we are made new creations. Help us let go of our old identity, fears, bitterness, and brokenness, and instead live in hope and transformation that comes through You alone. Bring healing where there is pain, unity where there is division, and light where there is darkness. May Your love continue to guide the Korean American community, businesses, and all people toward compassion, love, and faith. In Jesus’s name we pray, Amen.
