*WELCOME to HOSANNA! – *We hope you had a Christ-exalting Christmas and happy final Sunday of 2025! Warmest welcome to all of you, especially if you are visiting or re-visiting! Please let our Welcoming Team give you our welcoming gift! Fill-out a yellow newcomer’s contact card so that we can keep in touch! We welcome you into this family of Christ’s loving arms and remain here for you as His body to grow and flourish together!
 
*DISMISSAL of children (kinder to 5th grade) to Children’s Ministry and Youth Group to Bible study + Lunch! – At this time, children from kindergarten to 5th grade can head over to Minister Sewon Cho’s children’s ministry – please proceed to the children’s chapel down the hallway to the left! And youth group can head to your Bible study and lunch hour with Rev. Suyoung Song. *Preschool worship children should already be in the preschool worship room with Director Rachel, and will continue to begin simultaneously at 10:30am in the preschool worship room.
 
*WELCOME – RESERVE ELDER ANDREW LEE – Welcome Reserve Elder Andrew into Hosanna with your warm blessing. We look forward to the ways God will continue to work through him to build His Church and His Kingdom.
 
*END-OF-YEAR GIVING STATEMENT for TAX PURPOSES – Sign-up in the office if you need your total giving statement through an official church letter for tax purposes.
 
*NEW YEAR 2026 GATHER & FELLOWSHIP INFORMALLY WITH PASTOR – As the new year is in full swing, Pastor Chester would love to check-in with each of you to see how you are in the Lord, field any questions you have or concerns on your heart, and help you take the next flourishing step in your walk with Christ and towards spiritual health. It could be just a phone conversation, over snacks or meal, or just small talk at the church on Sunday. Expect to be contacted in the next few weeks, and as able, make time for a fellowship! Thank you for praying for and supporting our installed Pastor.

*TODAY – SUNDAY (1/11) – STAFF gathering at 1:10pm, Corner Conference Room – Pray and continue supporting our honored staff, who serve us so faithfully and sacrificially, as they gather to plan for ministry.

*UPCOMING in FEBRUARY – JOINT BETHANY YOUTH + HOSANNA GREAT COMMISSION FOCUS WEEK – Next month, missionaries James & Faith Cha will be visiting us for a special time of teaching on world missions. There are two copies of Pastor James' book in the office, "Fear Not: Living a Life of No Regrets” which details his missional calling and experience on the mission field with biblical wisdom and pastoral insight. Throughout this month, please feel free to borrow a copy and read the book to prepare for his arrival. *We are so joyful to partner with our Bethany youth for this joint endeavor of blessing! More info TBA.
 
*KINGDOM EXPANSION PRAYER – This week’s Kingdom expansion prayers will focus on 2026 January Ministry
 
Scripture:
 
But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus his Son cleanses us from all sin. (1 JOHN 1:7)
 
For where two or three are gathered in my name, there am I among them.” (MATTHEW 18:20)
 
And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near. (HEBREWS 10:24-25)
 
Prayer (by Pastor Chester):
Heavenly Father, we lift up to You the month of January 2026. Thank You for giving us new time, new blessings awaiting Your beloved Church. Thank you for bringing Reserve Elder Andrew Lee to Hosanna, his faithful example of Christ’s servanthood throughout all these years. May You continue to get Your glory through him and work powerfully through him to advance Your Kingdom through Your Church. Bless all the new year gatherings and informal fellowship times with our Pastor, for members to share their hearts, lives, and tears, advancing their walk with Christ. Bless our breakout discussion groups with Christ-exalting expositions and thoughts on Your living Word, edifying one another. Bless the dishwashing servants today with their selfless Christlike servanthood. Bless the staff today as they gather to dream more of Your Kingdom on earth through Hosanna. Be with the JAMES life group families as they regather this Saturday for a time of teaching, sharing their lives, and prayer. Give us joy in Your presence as we celebrate the birthdays of Ashley, Justin, and Director Trey. In all this, may we walk in the light, as Christ is our light, to have true fellowship with one another with the blood of Jesus cleansing us from all sin. For we know where two or more are gathered in the name of Jesus, You are here among us. So let us consider how we can stir up one another to love and good works. Let us not neglect to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encourage one another all the more as we see the Day of Christ’s return drawing nearer and nearer. In the risen name of Jesus Christ who is coming again while we draw nearer to one another again in His fellowship, Amen & amen.
